Keef
Well we just spent the entire weekend recording a 6 track demo, which is still to be mixed. This was our number one priority, but we will be getting a couple of rehearsals in before the 12th, and the guys all seem keen to do at least one cheesey christmas classic! Moos
Any previews, Keef? What about a rocked-up version of 'Walking In A Winter Wonderland'? That would be super-cheesey but also quite fun.But then again, I'm a Christmasaholic (or holly-ic) and you shouldn't listen to anything I say. Keef
The best christmas tune is Fairytale in New York obviously. However, I am kind of with Georgia on Slade! Moos do you fancy doing I saw mummy kissing Santa Claus, now that would be a christmas cheese board! RosieH
Think you should consider Elvis's Santa Claus is Back in Town - makes the line "Santa Claus is comin' down your chimney tonight" sound absolutely filthy. My kind of Christmas song (although all of the above also super - except Fairytale of New York - as the original is without peer, could you possibly live up to it? actually scrap that, in fact all Christmas songs are super, make the whole set Christmas songs and wash it down with advocaat) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/3426-keefs-band/page/2/#findComment-148146 Share on other sites
Jeremy
Band Aid - Feed The World (in the vein of the original version). Get the horn section going... you can't lose.
