Tailor/alterations

I've had a search through the forum and it would seem that answers to this question are few and far between but here goes anyway.

I have a new suit which I would like the trousers taken up on. I know many of the dry cleaners do this sort of work but as it's an expensive one I would like someone dependable. Does anyone know of a local tailor, or of a dry cleaners that could be trusted to do this well?

I found Jackie on the forum and she has done a number of alterations for me which have been great. She isn't based in ED but is about 10 mins drive away.

I can also recommend Jackie who did an excellent job altering three pairs of trousers for me.

Dry cleaners opposite Peckham Library are very good, also one in Bellenden Road. Both have altered RAF uniforms very well.
