Looking for a personal trainer

rubes

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I?m on the lookout for a personal trainer to help me lose about 10-14lbs, tone up and generally make me feel fitter and more healthy (I don?t really do anything at the moment).

I?d like guidance on diet and what to eat as well. I?m not rolling in money so I?m looking for someone who isn?t too expensive and I would like to maybe do 10 1-hour sessions over 10 weeks (rather than 2 or 3 a week ? as I could do other workout sessions myself the rest of the week). I?d also like the sessions to be home based or possibly outdoors (but would have to pre-arrange some childcare for this as I?m a single mum ? so home-based is a bit easier) rather than in a gym setting. Anyone know any good (and cheap-ish) personal trainers in the area?

Many thanks,

Charlie - SE23

Good day Charlie,

The cheapest I can charge is ?8 - ?10 per hour. If required references can be provided on request. Please feel to contact me on 074 5584 7848. Thanks, Orlando.

Hi Charlie,

Just came across your post, If you've not found a trainer yet or would like to try someone else, I am offering a free taster session so you can make an informed decision on what trainer to use.

I am level 3 fully qualified and insured personal trainer with several additional qualifications for personal training.

Prices start from ?20 per session, this would include a food plan.

    • My mum (91 years young!) well remembers going to Austin's as a child, which she described as an 'Aladdin's Cave'!  She absolutely loved it - and is still a shopping fiend to this day (I 'blame' Austin's 😉). Going back up Peckham Rye, passing Austin's on your right hand-side, just past Phillips Walk (so not far from Austin's at all), I believe there was a British Relay Wireless shop - this would have been in the late 1930s/early 1940s.  Does anyone know anything about this? My grandad (my mum's dad) used to manage it; it was severely damaged in The Blitz - but I am having trouble locating it.  Mum's memory is dim (she was 6 at the time); she originally thought it was in Rye Lane, but we think now it was in Peckham Rye just up from Phillips Walk (originally Phillips Road).
    • Thanks everyone, this will need to be reported again as the fox was still mobile and walking down the road when last seen... hopefully someone will spot and report.
