I think the system he employed today looked good and was a great result considering those still out and the red card error, palace weren't great but slowly things gelling a little, what a shame we let Tomkins go though.

Reid was immense, Noble better than of late and even Zaza didn't look total crap.

What are your thoughts on the match tonight Ots?

I can never enjoy watching it, the fear of losing always trumps the hope of winning...and I count myself as an optimistic person! I think Liverpool will come out all guns blazing, and if we are still on level terms after first 20mins, I reckon it will be a draw, can't see either side keeping a clean sheet, have predicted 2-2...

A five-year-old Celtic fan rang the club to apologise for missing a game after it clashed with a friend's birthday party.

Louis Kayes, from Moodiesburn in North Lanarkshire, called the club to tell them he was sorry he had not made it to Saturday's game against Motherwell.

The boy's mother, 35-year-old Lisa Kayes, said he had borrowed her phone to make the call. She told the BBC her son had called after a "bit of a guilt trip".

Speaking on BBC Radio Scotland's Kaye Adams programme, she said: "He was in the living room with my phone and then I heard the voicemail message from Celtic Park saying 'thank you for calling'."

Ms Kayes said Louis wanted to speak to the club's manager, Brendan Rodgers, and his favourite player, Celtic captain Scott Brown, to apologise and explain his absence.

Indeed. Eddie Howe is doing a great job, especially considering the limited resources he has. And Jack Wheelchair completed his first 90 minutes in over two years.

Three away games in a row and with the injuries Spurs have had, even though we do now have good cover, I have to say I'm pleased with the away point. This match and especially the WBA game last week is the sort we would have lost a few years ago. Our failing over the last couple of seasons has been drawing too many games though but so far I'm not complaining. Another clean sheet and still unbeaten in the league. COYS!

Just wanted to say you modern football types are a load of softies. Now whilst I don't condone of trouble at footy matches it was pretty common in all my early days and I first witnessed a brawl when I was 11. It was all exciting and nobody got hurt. Obviously there was less savory stuff

Last night's events were so predictable but seemed to be one group trying to have a go at another and vice versa. If you were surprised at that go and watch a posher sport.

    • Hello,  I am interested to know people's opinion regarding dogs left tied up outside shops.  As I am hoping most dog owners are aware of how high risk it is now for dog theft.  People's houses are targeted for dog theft, even waiting to have a dog out in their back gardens, even for few minutes, to steal.  This is a very common occurrence now, as is breaking into properties to steal dogs.  The reasons behind dog theft varies, from using to breed, sell on, to use to sit whilst asking for money, (obviously not all people asking for money are dog thieves & may well own their own dog) and for dog bait for fighting.  This is not me being a drama queen, it is there for anyone to research regarding dog theft.  So would you leave your dog tied up outside a shop?
    • I don't know if any of the cricket or tennis clubs also have little gyms. There are also pilates studios on Melbourne Grove, Blackwater St, North Cross Rd and even the community hall of the church on Calton Ave. The David Lloyd gym in Orpington is very luxurious and expensive.
    • HI CPR Dave, I have to agree with Dogkennelhillbilly. We still have net migration into the country as per the Office of National Statistics- https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationandcommunity/populationandmigration/internationalmigration It may go negative in a year or two if pundits specialising in this are correct, but it isn't yet. Hi Dogkennelhillbilly, I don't think your maths is correct. Southwark Council states total empty homes at 8,588 -https://southwarknews.co.uk/news/housing/southwark-has-over-8500-empty-homes/ the total number of homes is 135k. Which means 6.36% are empty. However, while canvassing came across an empty home which does not appear to have been appreciated by Southwark Council who are now investigating whether the empty Home Council Tax Premium should have been applied for the last 10+ years. It seems likely the 8,588 is under reporting the number of empty homes.  Infill sites are defined by most public bodies was non strategic sites from a development perspective. The railway yard and other sites are in the Southwark strategic plans and thus would not be infill sites.  Tall buildings planted into lower surrounding suburban areas is a subjective matter whether they are viewed as out of character for the area. It is factually true that I think they are out of character. Equally you have no qualms about such tall buildings being planted into the SE22 area.
