The fact they have spoiled so many in the past probably means they'd have done it again.

I was at this match. It was a pre season friendly at the Emirates. The army were there for some sort of "Gunners" presentation after the match and were asked to sit behind the goal in front of the Celtic fans prior to the final whistle. An oversight by Arsenal.

Nothing to do with remembrance. Anyway we have done it to death now.

Back in your box.

Who the hell are you to tell me or anyone else that we're finished on a certain topic. You really do think a lot of yourself.

Typical Celtic response - always blame everyone else than acknowledging the scum bags in your support. So that reaction was Arsenal's fault?! Fu*k right off.

Singing songs about the death of Lee Rigsby was probably Brentford's fault too huh?

Well, that's twice I've been told to fuck off today. Ho hum.

If only you were a Catholic you'd probably be the Pope by now.

Mick I don't think Jah ever told YOU to fuck off. It's pretty clear the group he was referring to it wasn't a personal attack.

Yes he's my friend and yes I'm sticking up for him, but I'm also saying it as I read it. The only personal thing earlier was AM suggesting Jah was hungover.

But can we all just talk about footy now.

Looking forward to MOTD. BBC website suggests Arsenal never really turned up, , especially in the first half.

What are you lot like.

I post something relevant - Mourinho is an arse

Then slag you lot off as per usual for not supporting local teams

Then give you my one experience of Parkhead which was frighteningly anti-English

And you go on bitching about each other.

Now back to important matters.

Mourinho is an arse. Yes or no.

Support your local team. Yes of no.

Admire Malumbu being the only Englishman in the Jungle at Parkehead. Yes or no.

    • This week's edition of The Briefing Room I found really useful and impressively informative on the training aspect.  David Aaronovitch has come a long way since his University Challenge day. 😉  It's available to hear online or download as mp3. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m002n7wv In a few days time resident doctors -who used to be known as junior doctors - were meant to be going on strike. This would be the 14th strike by the doctors’ union since March 2023. The ostensible reason was pay but now the dispute may be over without more increases to salary levels. The Government has instead made an offer to do something about the other big issue for early career doctors - working conditions and specialist training places. David Aaronovitch and guests discuss what's going on and ask what the problem is with the way we in Britain train our doctors? Guests: Hugh Pym, BBC Health Editor Sir Andrew Goddard, Consultant Gastroenterologist Professor Martin McKee, Professor of European Public Health, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine Mark Dayan, Policy Analyst, Nuffield Trust. Presenter: David Aaronovitch Producers: Caroline Bayley, Kirsteen Knight, Cordelia Hemming Production Co-ordinator: Maria Ogundele Sound Engineers: Michael Regaard, Gareth Jones Editor: Richard Vadon
    • That was one that the BBC seem to have lost track of.  But they do still have quite a few. These are some in their 60s archive. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0028zp6
