Apparently the CSKA Fulham fleet of buses was unavailable last night as they were busy ferrying passengers stranded by yesterdays tube strike, such a selfless act. After the game Wenger called Mrs Maureen to offer words of comfort, from one specialist in failure to another.

Glad you agree, plus you missed a classless self promoting twat, and that's just his good points. Finally the British media have found him out are are starting to be less sycophantic than than used to be. The funny thing is this season Moyes who has won the Charity shield will have more trophies to his name than Maureen. Specialist in failure, how that phrase has come back to haunt him. If he'd been as good as he thinks he is he would have gone for it in Madrid and not parked the fleet. Couldn't happen to nicer bloke.

Are you being serious? You are looking back on just this past season? You do realise the charity shield is only contested by the winner's of the previous season and winners of the FA Cup? And well done Moyes for beating a championship side to win that.


If your football knowledge only stretches back 10 months I am not sure what point there is argueing further. But I will agree that Moyes has definitely won more trophies this past ten months than Mourinho. I am aghast that Man United sacked the poor fellow.

Unlike Chavs fans whose collective memory only goes back to 2005 eh? You've got the manager your club and the fans deserve. Di Matteo wins the UCL Ancelloti does the double, both sacked by your club but Maureen is welcomed back as a tactical genuis. The sight of Terry crying last night was a joy to behold. Long may the specialist in failure continue to be hailed as a hero by your club.

You'll find there are plenty of us that remember Chelsea winning the cup winners cup way back in the 70s (I was 11yo) and all those years in the wilderness after that. Which makes the period of sustained success all the more sweeter. The trouble is, when you finally achieve regular success, especially when a investor unafraid of losing money comes along, this will breed resentment/jealousycontempt from other club supporters, which goes with the territory.


Mourinho will always wind some rival supporters up because he is brash and sucessful, but I think you will find that not just Chelsea supporters are of the opinion that Mourinho is a tatical genius as you put it. Some Chelsea supporters may even disagree with some of the things he says. For example I thought his comments after the West Ham game were ill-judged. I was at that game and felt that West Ham defended resolutely. We should have been able to break them down, but we didn't.


I think the board decision to sack Ancelotti was a disgrace. Deserved another season after winning the double. I knew Roberto might not be the one to take us onwards despite the CL win but once the board elected to keep him on they should have at least kept him until the summer, instead of giving us the debarcle of having Benitez in charge.

Lots of successful managers aren't despised in the same way that Maureen is, he is the special one in that respect. As for the debacle of Benitez, didn't he also win a trophy for you? Lest we forget Maureen also tried to gouge the eye of an official from an opposing team. One of just a few reasons he is despised.

Yes, not exactly the sort of behavior to enamour you with anyone I have to agree.


Benitez was almost universally hated by every Chelsea supporter. Don't really expect anyone outside to understand. Unless they have been through similar with their own clubs.

So why do you not show the same level of hatred for eto'o who once famously said he would rather sell groundnuts in his home village than play for Mourinho? Your fans also slated Benitez for failing to play attaractive flowing football but the current guy is lauded for playing defensive dour football. Hypocritical? Just a tad.

Didn't Mourinho get sacked from Chelsea for not playing attractive enough football? He won things but that wasn't sufficient for RA if memory serves me correctly. I don't despise him at all as I can't help thinking he's just acting most of the time. Pep, who was the bees knees at Barca is now getting flack for his style of play at Bayern from no less than Franz Beckenbauer. It must be hard to be a manager, apart from the money you earn.

It would be hypocritical if you weren't talking bollocks. Benitez was hated for comments leveled at Chelsea whilst being in charge at Liverpool. Eto'o did make comments then retracted them when after he actually worked for the man. There were some that hated the fact Eto'o came to Chelsea but most if not all have warmed to him. Anyway, football is full of hypocracies.

We'll never know for sure but I am of the belief that the board became concerned with the negative football and the mounting negative press the club were getting, specially post Friskgate. But I also believe Mourinho and Abramovich parted on good terms and that Mourinho wanted/needed another challenge.
