I've always thought it a bit strange how many curry houses we have. But I doubt people travel from afar to have a cuzzer in ED. So thankfully no, I don't think ED will become the new brick lane.

Speaking of curry houses, what is Coriander like? I have never seen anyone in it which is putting me off trying it. Or is its clientele more takeaway based?

Coriander is fantastic. I've not been for ages, but was wholly impressed after a visit there last year. Very fresh tasting food and a jolly friendly service to boot.

I've only tried Coriander once and it was pretty awful, but given the number of people on here who rate it I think I really need to give it another try.

Doubt that LL is becoming new BL! Brick Lane has a large resident Asian population in proximity which is why there's a variety of establishments - style, quality, authenticity,accesibility, price bla bla. Not sure that this is the same in East Dulwich albeit an enthusiastic market.
