Ikea chest of drawers - anyone got this?

Hi, just wondering if anyone can give me any feedback on

Am thinking of buying for a childrens room, and can't decide between blue or white. The white would match better, but can anyone tell me what the finish is like (appears a bit 'plasticky'??, but so hard to tell from the web)? From the website the blue looks better, and I could possibly get away with it under the guise of "funky", but I do want there to be a lot of sleeping going on in said room rather than a total riot of colours!

We've got it in white, in our master bedroom, and it's brilliant. The white has a bit of a gloss finish (and is actually a bit off white), and looks great. We have matching side tables and dressing table.

We've got another product from the range in the white and its fine. One of the drawers doesn't run well but that could easily be due to our flat pack skills.

My neighbours have your chest in white in their girls' room and are pleased with it.

We've got a couple of hemnes chests of drawers and they look(ed) very nice but haven't worn well. 2 drawers broken on my boys' one and the bottom one on mine. Having said that we are v hard on furniture and they have certainly been overstuffed and badly treated!

I've been dithering about a new chest of drawers for ages and have just ordered this one based on your recommendations! I looked at some in John Lewis that were 5 x the price but no nicer. Thank you EDF for ending my dithering! :-)

I've bought two of these. One in my current flat and one in the spare room I use when visiting my parents. Both I've had for around 5yrs and are still in A1 condition. Robust, decent and good looking furniture. They hold loads as drawers are quite deep. Can't go wrong in my opinion.
