Front driveway work/landscaping

Hi there

Does anyone have a recommendation for a landscaper/builder for turning their front garden into a driveway and garden? I know all about the dropped curb application process, etc, but am looking for someone who can advise on design and do the work - has anyone done such a thing in East/West Dulwich? Thanks

I do know that a couple of years ago or more there was serious flooding in parts of ED around Hindmans and Uplands Roads and there was talk about reducing the number of people who were changing their front gardens into concreted drives as the flow off of rainwater was adding to flooding. Not sure whether you have to get planning permission - perhaps James Barber will know.

Hi there, I can make a free design draw for you, and if you like it,I can send the boys to do it.

As a reference we do a restaurant terrace at this time.

Not many can beat our prices, and we provide high quality at good prices.

For details you can call Costa at 07417558919.

All the best.

    • Not strictly a new place but new to me: stumbled across a fabulous cocktail bar at 210 Rye Lane - we loved the gorgeous, eclectic interior, they make any cocktail you can imagine and will be doing small plates. Think it's called XOTO? opposite the Tesco express at that end of Rye Lane.
    • This drives me absolutely mad. Why is all the food they sell there so effing noisy? Popcorn, nuts, crisps. Why can't they just sell stuff like rolls and ice cream? Is it because those are harder to store and more perishable? It's so inconsiderate to other people, like having your mobile on loudspeaker on public transport.

    • S24? I just googled Royal Mail complaints and it went straight to this page. If you phone Royal Mail you can also make a complaint, though it takes forever to go through all the options and then to speak to someone. It's probably a lot quicker to do it online. Not that you will actually get anywhere in this case. You are probably marginally better off contacting your MP, not that they will probably get anywhere either.
