Yep - thats how I go now.

Caught the 436 straight there from Peckham once or twice to save on zone 1 ticket - but still took an hour.

The train ticket to London Bridge included the cost of the tube to paddington I think.

I think we debated this one

before
.

I'm a fan of no.12 to Lambeth North (less of an underground maze with overground rush hour than l'elephant) then bakerloo to Paddington. Not necessarily the fastest but the best balance between fast and low number of changes - particularly with luggage, as gets you on both bus and tube early enough in their journey to get seated and entrenched with your bags.

PS: just seen why timtim started this thread - may be a bit late, sorry!

    • After looking through a few decorator recommendations on here and getting some quotes, I hired Kam to paint ceiling, walls, door, skirting etc in my hallway and bathroom. Really happy with the results and the experience with Kam. He is professional, friendly and polite: someone I was happy and comfortable to have in my home (I live on my own and this is not always the case) and implicitly trusted to be there when I was away. The price was reasonable, his communication was great and he was patient with some changes I wanted to make and willing to try painting tiled floors with a particular paint I found and worked meticulously to get a great finish with it and all aspects of the job.  He also went above and beyond to tidy up some painting jobs I'd done myself. Thoroughly recommend.   Kam: 07949507412 email: [email protected]
