I had a call from my credit card fraud section today asking if the ?50 transaction to Vodaphone this afternoon was anything to do with me. It wasn't and I thought that was pretty on the ball of them to spot it. Turns out the perps had tested the card with a transaction for a penny first which alerted the bank. AAAAAnyway, sorry to hear that MP, where is Benin?

What I wonder is how do the buggers get the details? They must have your PIN also MP if they are withdrawing cash.

    • The fact is, high spec phones are worth money. Be secure - passwords, face recognition, strong passwords for your banking etc.  Get your phones backed up. Get your phone insured. Don't fight if you are being robbed. It’s just a phone. Be safe. Annoying as it is, it’s prolific and you can take steps to minimise your chance of being targeted.
    • Your point being what? Kids in face masks all in black? Being going on in ED for years..  wake up, gangs are around or is this first time you have been aware.. No doubt your hubby walked away - probably ran when he felt safe..
    • Fine people for wearing face coverings??? Do you remember covid?
    • John recently installed our kitchen and has done a stellar job. He took a lot of care to make sure all of the details were right, in our Edwardian house that has very few straight lines. He worked really hard and attention to detail and problem solving was excellent. Highly recommend.    [email protected]   https://www.facebook.com/p/Top-Marx-Kitchens-100054431982311/?checkpoint_src=any
