I also owned a shop in Peckham for 7 years which simply reinforced my belief the place was a hole. Jeremy
Parish smarish. Who cars what the church says. At least the post office are vaguely relevant to the 21st century... for now... Otta
Even if at one time, East Dulwich stretched in to what is now Peckham, boundaries change. You are the only person in 2013 that uses CofE Parishes to define borders.SE15 is Peckham. Everyone except for you basically gets that. You shouldn't be ashamed John, embrace your Peckham roots! Out of interest, why do you think otherwise? And don't you think there are some nice bits of Peckham? What were your experiences of owning a shop there? DulwichFox
Nunhead is a fictitious Place. Appro. equidistant between East Dulwich and Millwall Football Ground. Otta
Yeah, Nunhead is basically no man's land between New Cross, Brockley and Peckham. It doesn't deserve it's own postcode. edhistory
Your geography of Peckham is not very good. It would not be possible to fit half of Peckham south of Choumert Road. I wonder where the 2013 northern boundary of East Dulwich Parish lies.John K Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/36741-east-dulwich-the-dream-is-over/page/2/#findComment-682838 Share on other sites
