Had a lovely time with those pesky Assetites yesterday. Yes, Moos we'd be up for it again, when summer returns (as if you cannot remember those balmy days in late July, or are you just being typically oh-so-English about the weather?) Just give us a shout.

Giggirl, you lightweight, you could have come along in t-shirt and flip-flops - that's if Blahnik makes any flip-flops.;-)

Yes, but the bastard weather was only bastard good while we were on bastard holiday.

Sorry, just getting the swearing out of the way before having to behave myself in front of your lovely children.

I reckon we should keep an eye on the skies and shout out for some time in mid September.

Gina makes flip-flops - very nice ones with Swarawski crystals. I'm genuinely sorry about yesterday; I was sick at home and can produce a note from my mum if necessary. I would be up for a re-match.

    • They’ve backed away from pretending they produce their own goods recently. That claim sat at the centre of the misdirection for years. They’ve now accepted they can’t sustain it, so they’re beginning to highlight the local independent bakeries whose products they actually sell. The business is essentially a courier model running on a slim margin.
    • Another sparrow hawk visor to our cherry tree at the weekend.  Our robin survived, but we may be a sparrow down.     any thoughts on bird feeders & bird baths with the current bird flu?  I try to wash out the bird bath most days when at home, but not on the 3 days in a row that I’m in the office & the bird feeders rather less regularly. Would it be better not to have at all (as my partner thinks)?
    • OOOPS. My daughter just had to pay a five pound fine. I hadn't put a stamp on it. I remember wondering whether to use a  first or second class stamp,  and clearly when I posted it I still hadn't decided (but sadly didn't notice). I feel really bad for suspecting a postie might have  opened it.  Sorry posties.
