Computer Repairs Recommendation

I would like to truly recommend PAW ON THE BUTTON COMPUTER REPAIRS.

I had a problem with a socket in my laptop, it stopped charging. I checked a local repair shop, however I would have to leave my laptop in the shop for few days. As I am working from home and need my laptop to do so, I needed to look elsewhere. I found PAW ON THE BUTTON COMPUTER REPAIR on this forum and decided to give it a go.

I was offered a visit on the same day within 3 hours from the call; my laptop was fixed in less than an hour.

You can contact Paul on 07595679275. http://www.pawonthebutton.co.uk/

Many thanks Paul for helping me out today:)

Totally recomend Paul at Paws on the Button. My son spilled water on the laptop and after a problem with PC world, I looked on the Forum for recommendations. Paul answered the phone straight away and immediately arranged to call round to see the damage that evening. He rescued data from the stricken computer and put it on one of our other machines for us so we would not lose work, then he diagnosed the problem and took the laptop to his workshop. Two days later and Paul delivered it back to me in fully working order with a new keyboard and all the water damage repaired. All at a very reasonable price and nothing like the actual charges from PC World KnowHow. If i had kept it with PC world Knowhow it would not have been back to us for ten days from today. Thanks to Paul and Paws on the Button, I am writing this on my "old" laptop which is completely fixed and works like a dream.

This is obviously a desperate attempt by a unimaginative repair artist whom elicits my scorn for such a pathetic attempt at drumming up business with bogus recommendations!!

Does he believe that this effort will fool anyone? It reads like a text book example on how not to write a review !!

As genuine as a 9 bob note!!

Hi,

I would just like to add my recommendation for Paul at Paw on the Button - 07595679275 - he has just returned my macbook after it would not boot up - it's back as good as new - better even - at a reasonable price with pick up and return. I would definitely use again and recommend others to do so. Thanks Paul.

Another recommendation for Paul. He's just replaced two broken screens on some vintage MacBooks for us. Way faster, way easier, and way cheaper than the Apple Store. Nice guy who did what he said he would for the price he said he would - he even cleaned the fans and insides while he was in there.
Stumbled across this thread today having put up with a very flaky power connector on my Sony laptop for months and months. Emailed Paul and he offered to come round today (Sunday) and agreed to fix on site. That's pretty good service. Paul turned up, quietly went about his business, fixed it, and undercut another price I'd found online. Definitely recommend.

Thank you very much indeed for this kind recommendation, cella.

I'm glad that both your iPad and your computer now work correctly.

Also, many thanks for the other recommendations on this thread; much appreciated.

Hello everybody

I just wanted to add my own comments and recommendations to the other positive ones about Paul (at Paws on the button). I have consulted him on three occasions and he has invariably been easy to talk to, and has quickly understood my usual list of large and small lap top problems - and has solved them! His charges are reasonable and he turns up when he says he will. I will be contacting him again when I have problems.

Paul came to fix our computer today. He showed up on time, worked patiently and dillegently and solved the matter entirely. I can't recommend him enough and would like to add my voice to the already considerable chorus of endorsements. Thank you so much Paul! we will be sure to contac you again should the need arise.

I just wanted to add another recommendation for Paul of Paws on the Button. I had been meaning to get my laptop looked at for quite some time (slow; unable to configure Windows updates; possible hacking) and after reading positive reviews here, was very pleased that I contacted Paul. He responded very quickly to my emails and after taking a look at my laptop and offering possible solutions, took it away for a day to change the hard drive, sort out the problems I had with it plus transfer and organise all of my photos/videos from my phone which I had been attempting and failing to do for many months. When he returned my(much speedier)laptop, Paul clearly explained what he had done as well as ensure that my laptop was reconnected with my wifi and printer. He also offered advice regarding antimalware and antivirus programmes. I will definitely be contacting Paul if my laptop goes wonky again. Thank you.

    • No denying that Labour's first year or so has disappointed those of us who wanted major change.  But this demonising of the man is just ridiculous.  There have been some good things, but drowned out by this insentient right wing driven media hatred.  The same right wing media that loves Johnson and FaaReg (I think I've at last hit on getting the pronounciation right). A good example today - John Crace reports: That done [reference to Trump] , Starmer could move on. Britain had offered its full support to the peace process. Had worked tirelessly behind the scenes, with no need of recognition. Because it was our job. Recognising a Palestinian state had allowed other Arab nations to condemn Hamas. And we knew a thing or two about decommissioning weapons from the Good Friday agreement. But it was going to be a long haul. (maybe a rosy look, but nice to see something positive) A positive view on our position in the world and a player on the peace deal (albeit too late for many in Gaza) Here's GB news: Suella Braverman says she is 'ashamed to be British' after Keir Starmer’s 'humiliation on world stage' HTF can Braverman lecture anyone? Mail: Will Keir Starmer EVER recover from his viral humiliation by Trump in front of world? PM's efforts to bask in Gaza peace deal spectacularly backfire And slightly earlier in the Times: Starmer ‘duped voters’ and five more claims in explosive new book.  In this case the left sharpening their knives - perhaps they could go back to Corbyn's time as Labour leader.
    • This is one of the most stupid arguments used by all the far-right war criminal supporters to justify the unjustifiable. I can only advise you to study what defines a genocide, maybe you’ll learn a thing or two. Perhaps, you should also read about the great (Jewish) scholars Omer Bartov and Amos Goldberg who both (among others prominent intellectuals) concluded that Israel was committing a genocide. At least, they can’t be accused of antisemitism, I suppose.
    • I am a big fan of Blue Brick..possibly my favourite local cafe for lunch..
    • Love Blue Brick and have had some lovely meals there,, never had a problem with service, always so accommodating.. Try and support local business, as much as I can.. on a recent visit, clapped my hands that Gail’s was done.. pity, as staff were great at the start, just went down hill …. Be, nice not to see another eateries..chain..  all for supporting individuals.
