I recently got a knock on the door from the police at 7am, and was told the house opposite me was a weed factory.

And to think all that time I could have been living the middle class dream sourcing locally grown organic produce.

Think Standard may have got this wrong? Bromley police are mentioned and other media mentions Crystal Palace Park Rd (Bromley) as opposed to CPR.

Newsshopper seems to agree :)

I don't think this was our Crystal Palace Road.

Every year East Dulwich councillors allocate money for a crime prevention fund.

2012 local Police asked and we provided a thermal imaging camera.

Two reasons. One when children are lost it is much quicker for the police to use this themal camera to try and find them. Two, to proactively find cannabis factories which generally are associated with organised crime. Only a fool would set a factory up in the Dulwich area now...

Absolutely.

After all - the police have always been one step ahead of the growers. That's why the 'war on drugs' will surely be won soon. Anytime now. Definitely.

And Starmer piled in very heavily on Johnson for that. If he doesn't resign himself now he is an enormous hypocrite and this will be very damaging  indeed.
    • Yep Peter Mandelson is officially toast.  But what now MUST happen is that the title of Lord and all the privileges which go with that should be removed immediately. It's a long way up the pole but it's an even longer way back down as Mandelson is finding out.
