A bit less shiny than the article wants to portray.

You mean the computer industry that includes all the tech companies that already produce 8% of GDP, soon to be more than the finance industry and in only 20 years. Yeah pretty insignificant I'd say.

Ive no problem with the computer industry given I'm a developer. It's just I don't really consider myself a creative.

The problem is whoever did this infographic has forgotten to include all the creatives in the digital/tech industry. I'm guessing they will be included in the computer services section because they don't really fit anywhere else. El Pibe you may not be creative but lots of developers are, from what I understand Apple insist on their workers being creative.

So Loz and El Pibe where would you put designers, interaction designers, creative directors, ux? Or are you saying they are not creative?

Creative is all encompassing if you produce you create.

I am guessing like you Jah, on my first day in a proper job in an office, when i got shown to my desk on it it had a phone, filing cards, filing box, a pad of paper, a pen and an ashtray......
