Hi,

I run the children's shoe in the Warehouse, Gregg number is 07966176169.

He is not sure what he will be doing at the moment, he does do home visits and is based at

62 St Johns Wood High Street London NW8 7SH Mon/ Tues/Thurs/ Fri.

I hope this helps, I am in regular contact with him so if he finds something locally I will post on the forum.

Thank you.

Daya Day

I was so sad to hear this news. I live close to ED Warehouse and it's a gorgeous little place that'll be much missed. The traders there were so kind and helpful when we were moving in.

Since I live so close by, I'm obviously concerned about what'll take the space. I'll be watching this thread closely!

Dear All,

The children's shoe shop which was in ED Warehouse will be trading there until March 9th. Then will be moving into shop share (Tuesday 11th March) Mabel Vintage 14,Melbourne Grove SE22 8QT.

New stock (children shoes) will still be arriving as usual at the Warehouse and then will continue to arrive at Mabel Vintage.

Huge reductions and bargains so take advantage of this.

Thank you all for your support and suggestions of shop share.

This forum is absolutely amazing.

I look forward to seeing you all soon.

Bless.

Daya Day.

Totally disagree...I've brought some beautiful vintage clothes and accessories there and will miss it greatly...I guess you are the type that longs for a Jack Wills to move into the space.

Well you'd be utterly wrong then, so don't presume things about me. Glad you liked the shop but as quality goods/businesses there wasn't any, just generally stall type tat akin to the tat on NorthX . Don't get confused with 'nice' stall holders and decent goods/services. Barber will probably turn it into a school now anyway as part of his 10yr ED domination plan. And no, I don't want that either. Or a chain.

Hi All,

Greg the clock guy has asked me to post this.

He is looking for a small work shop to continue his business ideally in the East Dulwich area.

If anyone has any ideas or know of a place.

Please can you text him on:

07966176169.

After being at E D Warehouse for six years it would be such a shame that he would have to go.

I am aware that lots of people have been asking where he's going to be.

Your help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Daya Day

So sad about these shops closing due to stupid hikes in rents, it is necessary that any area has thriving independent shops and services otherwise !!!!

I just hope that the quote from Parkhill's website that they have "completely changed the face of a high street in Lordship lane East Dulwich" doesn't blow up in their faces and LL becomes another suburban ghost town -

    • I can't access the article - what's the gist?  I took the markets getting jittery when she was crying at PMQs to be a sign that they trusted her. But maybe it was because they were simply worried about any form of instability.  The NIC hikes have stymied the economy, which we could all see a mile off. Will a wealth tax improve things? Does anyone here think the trickle down has any impact and that chasing out the super rich will help things? Or are we just seeing off the biggest contributors to the economy? And has the Kwasi approach ever worked anywhere else?  Economics is not my strong point at all, I'd love to know others' opinions, but it seems to be she has few options, especially as the party is so divided.
    • does either of them have a surgery? probably not over summer, but I thought they had to give the opportunity for their constituents to meet them.
    • MaryT, I’ve contacted the Dulwich Hill councillors several times in recent years, always copying them both in. I have never had an acknowledgment from Jon Hartley (not even an automated response or out-of-office) nor had any response or engagement from him regarding the issue raised.   On each occasion, only Maggie Browning responded (she uses an out-of-office if she is away). The last time, I received no response from either for 3 months, until Maggie Browning emailed me to apologise for not responding and asking if the problem had been resolved.
    • The  Kwasi effect is being considered.
