I've no idea what Iceland or any of the supermarkets do but I do know that sometimes lobsters & crabs are cooked before they are frozen.

So you can't help wondering if they've been boiled alive.

yup.

I like Franco Manca, it's really decent pizza.


However, please can we make sure we don't forget the wonderful Il Mirto on Melbourne Grove? I've eaten a hell of a lot of FM and it just doesn't beat this family-run Sardinian gem. It's so unpretentious and the food is nothing short of exquisite. Still very reasonably priced too, AND BYO on a Wednesday.


Go to Franco Manca, but don't forget Il Mirto ? it's way more legit. Plus you won't have to queue!

We now seem to have two threads running simultaneously about Franco Manca, and now people (well, one person) has posted the same post on both of them.


This thread is headed Draft House, so can't we let this one die and move discussion about Franco Manca to the other one, to avoid (my) total confusion??

Not just the uk economy! energy prices a result of the Russian invasion, something Johnson said would never happen and as we seek to remove ourselves from non-renewable and Russian controlled natural resources, we have Tories and reform condemning Labour for pursuing renewables. Something most other sane countries are doing  We must also not forget the mad relative in the attic.  Brexit.  Something which contributed massively both to the black hole and to the foreseeable future lack of growth  (this is something starmer has also bizarrely tied himself to. Presumably in an attempt to placate the media/loons who think it was a good idea but which will fail in both aims)
