...who pulled out onto oncoming traffic without indicating or warning on Red Post Hill (I know it's not ED):

- YOU pulled out without indicating or warning

- YOU caused ME to do an emergency stop (luckily no-one behind me)

- even so, there was still enough room for you to carry on pulling out

- but then YOU started making offensive hand gestures at me

- when I decided not to to feel so generous and pulled next to you

- your female passenger jumped out of the van and became verbally agressive and deeply offensive, leaning into my car's open window

I hope you had a lovely day and managed to keep that chip on your shoulder from falling off.

I know the VW camper in question - I see it every time I walk to JAGS gym. It is plastered with pacifist, liberal, cr@p stickers like "drop acid not bombs" and these are mostly of US origin.

I'm surprised that camper is still there after all these years and that that P!k?$ havn't nicked it yet! But then you never know who the owners might be!!

And would you care to fill in the missing letters of the word I've emphasised in bold, Green Goose?

I love that this post was edited two minutes after posting. Man With a Van clearly wrote and posted it. but on further consideration wasn't entirely content with the syntax and grammar so amended accordingly.

    • Even Dories agreed that we have to maintain diplomatic relations with China rather than label them as a threat.  I don't care about Chagos, beyond that decision should have been made years ago.  He does pretty well with Trump, so give him some credit. I doubt if there is anyone in the position to take his place, as personable as Burnham is he failed in the past and is not the answer.  Just accept that you have Starmer for till the end of term.  More important to those that would not have Faridge as our next PM, still two thirds, is making the next few years work, or at the least doing well enough that we can have a centre left coalition to prevent Faridge becoming PM..
    • I agree Callows Locksmiths in East Dulwich really are the best - the staff are so kind and go above and beyond to help customers! I took in a Yale lock that I thought was broken and they checked it and told me that the deadlock function had been activated by mistake and pointed out that in a property with flats this would be dangerous if a fire broke out.  They then showed me how to disable it, gave me new screws (because the threads had worn) and expert advice on how to refit it - all without charge!!  Thank you! • Perhaps you could be pleasant rather than pedantic.  This is supposed to be a bit of fun but you have managed to already make it divisive.  I expect others will be more jolly.
    • To many Starmer comes across as weak, indecisive a lacking a plan. The complete opposite of a conviction politician.  He can overcome these perceptions by  having a clear foreign policy and staunchly safeguarding Britain's standing in the world. So far he has alienated our closest ally over the Chagos and the two traitors spying for China. The word on the street is that the leadership void has been filled by Johnathan Powell and that Starmer  does everything Powell says. Powell should be sacked as his  links to China go back 3 decades during which he was a frequent visitor and meeting senior Chinese officials. The other connection is through his brother -Lord Powell who was chairman of the China-Britain Business Council. Both Powells are members of the 48 Group Club whose stated aim is to "connect China to the world" Has  Starmer got the guts to clear out the Augean stables?
