that's really interesting- basically if all music consumers were willing to pay ?10 per month for pretty much all the music they could ever want, then the per person annual spend on music would be double what it was at it's peak in 1999

at least that's how i'm interpreting it

I agree to some extent about ripping off artists, but it does offer such a diverse range of music so surely that increases the likelihood of unknown musicians getting their music out there when they normally would be unable to. ?10 a month is nothing to pay either if you are a music lover with strong principles!

If you were a music lover with strong principle i'd hope you'd buy the individual albums

    • I think that's about it.  I know 1pmobile.com do £10 for 60days, or £48/yr, both of which include substantial usage if you need it. PS just checked.  £5 in it too for each of us if you want a referral.
    • Oh. I've been looking into this (online) and it seems I would still have to pay something (at least a fiver)  every month even if I wasn't using the phone, because they all seem to be 30 day rolling contracts. Have I misunderstood? I need something for emergency use only.
    • There is a reason why I think only England and Chile (no idea why) have a fully privatised national water set-up, and why the UN recognises the right to water as a human right - "the right to water entitles everyone to have access to sufficient, safe, acceptable, physically accessible, and affordable water for personal and domestic use".   Whoever is running pension funds should be shifting sharply, if they haven't done so already (and I'm sure they haven't for the most part).
