How I loved Pamela Stephenson - when she was funny.

I adored the album the song Running Up That Hill was on.

But The Kick Inside is a favourite, and is still played occasionally - on the TurnTable!

Wuthering Heights was just something so different at the time but my fav from Kate was Running Up That Hill.

Last time I heard anything about Kate was that she was a recluse living away from it all and wanted to protect her son.

Shame she's kept herself undercover for so long. Hope it's worth the wait!

Devon, I believe. Many moons ago she lived in Brockley. I got Aerial when it came out a few ago and it is the work of a genius. Up there with all of her best work.

I still think that the Wuthering Heights video shows that she was marvellously the right side of completely barking. You just can't imagine a record company today producing this video.

There's a clip of her on Razzamatazz, much-missed ITV pop show for kids. She was warm, humble, interested in the kids and really inspiring. This was an (ITV) children's pop show! Can you think of any of the tat produced now allowing an artist of her calibre to do a seven-minute show-and-tell?

Lets not forget, she was barely more than a kid at the time.

There's an interesting story that the record company didn't want to release Wuthering Heights as the first single at all, but Ms Bush put her foot down and insisted. Showed her label how little they knew. Can you even see that scenario happening today? Having said that though, no artist or band needs to rely on big labels for finding an audience for their music anymore, but it hasn't led to any greater number of great talents emerging. Maybe truly talented superstars are few and far between after all.
