Ooh this is all very interesting. You've got me digging around on sites trying to find my Mercury sign and the like. I knew I was a virgo dragon, but didn't know I was a virgo fire dragon, plus seem to have a lot of my other signs in libra (not sure what that's meant to mean yet).

Excellent work avoidance activity! :)

It is easy for the rationally minded to dismiss Astrology as bunk. However, those same people often accept far more bizarre concepts such as the Everett-Wheeler Meta-Theory of Quantum Mechanics as sound science.

If we really do live in a relativistic multi-verse governed by quantum mechanics then nothing - however bizarre - can be dismissed with absolute confidence: anything is possible.

The Truth is out there.

As a fellow Taurean I, obviously, don't share your stubborn nature, obviously....

Knowing you are a fellow Taurean has also made me change my view, which I DID hold for 5 Decades, in that Astrology can't be nonsense as we are such kindred spirits in almost everything we do or say its downright spooky...

Both over 6 feet with Blonde Hair and Blue Eyes, as well...

You're not the Bruvver I never knew who was Born with the forenames Cuthbert Tarquin Sebastian somewhere near Sheen are you davey ? ( "davey" as we might be more closely related than you realise M8)....

Those are my middle names. Stranger things and all that....

Nah! I reckon, on the balance of probabilities, you are, indeed, mi bruvver, so in future I will no longer be your "nemesis" but your bestest M8 on here and "have your back" on here bruv..:)-D

*blimey it's only Wednesday*

Last week two followers of astrology attempted to guess my so-called star sign. These two individuals had spent every working hour with me over a week, plus some six hours each day (for seven days) of the leisure variety. They still hadn't got to the 'correct' star sign after eight attempts.
If newspaper astrology columns are, in your mind, all there is to astrology, you are mistaken. Anyone can write those with very little astrology knowledge. "Proper" astrologers will put their name to them to keep the wolves from the door between in-depth astrological consultations.

    • Dear families,   My name is Eleanor. I’ve worked in NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services for the past eight years, and I’m about to begin an Infant Observation course in preparation for psychotherapy training. I’m looking for a baby to observe as part of this training.   The observation involves me visiting a baby and their parent for one hour a week over two years, with the aim of deepening my understanding of early emotional and developmental processes. Taking part is a generous contribution to the training of future child psychotherapists — ultimately supporting the mental health of children and families.   Both of my own children were observed as babies, which I found to be a really positive experience. Having an observer gently witness my babies’ development helped me notice their weekly changes in a new way, and I came to appreciate the calm, consistent presence of a trained observer. I was sad when the observations ended!   If you — or someone you know — is expecting a baby due before the end of February*, I would love to hear from you. You can contact me at +44 7977 910018 or [email protected].   Best wishes, Eleanor
    • I rarely iron, so my massive ironing board is just taking up unnecessary space. Does anyone have one of those little ones that you can use on an ordinary table?
    • It's happened twice today, I've never had this happen before! Here's the second one. All I did was try to agree with a post in the lounge!
    • Now I'm having my hand slapped by some forum bot 😮 All I did was try to add a laughing emoji to ianr's post. This is obviously a message from the universe to tell me to get off my phone and get back to working my way through my very lengthy to do list 🤣 ETA: And it's just happened again when I tried to agree with a post in the lounge. OK universe, I give in. Back to the hideous task list.
