Just had lunch at the Plough, food was good and reasonably priced. Nice relaxed atmosphere.

Presumably it's stopped letting the thugs in. Last time I was there I was threatened with a bottle by a drunken YOB (capitals are important here) and that was about 20 years ago.

You should get out more Dez. The Plough has completely changed and is a very pleasant spot. Nice garden too.

I too have just come back from the Plough after a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon there and a couple of pints of the black stuff. :)

I like the Plough, would say it's probably my second favourite drinking establishment in the area.
