vegetable boxes suggestions

Trying to top up on the 5 a day - so thinking about weekly vege boxes. Will appreciate any suggestions - prefer to support a family run and local as possible company / farm.

Not quite as local, but if Local Greens doesn't suit for any reason, I can also recommend Riverford - the local distributor in Southwark - Ged - is a great guy and it's a family run business who are (my impression) always up for trying new ideas to make sustainable work for everyone. We get a meat and veg box every two weeks and it's made a real (positive) difference to the way we eat.

Another shout for local greens - excellent value and not for profit local enterprise. They will be at Goose Green fair on 11 May if you'd like to see the produce and speak to other members of the scheme.

Can I also recommend local greens. We collect ours in the pub...great excused for a Thursday night pint, although this does undo some of the health benefits!

I can also recommend Riverford - I get the veg and salad boxes and they are delivered every 2 weeks. They include different things each time and I've learnt to cook with new foods that I would have avoided at the supermarket.
