Hi ceebeebee!

our local park in Beckenham has a water paddling pool - much like the one in Ruskin Park. Water is very clean. Its quite a bog standard paddling pool (not as sophisticated as Myatts Fields/Brockwell) but my kids loved it yesterday when we went.

The park is called Croydon Road Recreation ground and is probably a 20 min drive from ED

Oh good to know re Sydenham Wells as when we went about a week ago there were signs saying they weren't working and needed to be fixed.

We went to Brockwell today (working) and also Croydon Rd Rec paddling pool (Beckenham) - great but probably 3+ to get real enjoyment whereas even our 1yo loved Brockwell.

    • I paid £22 for cut and blow dry in Forest Hill Lowlights and cut with blow dry usually around £45.
    • Leave it white then new people can paint to their taste - that is why in show properties, they are white throughout or neutral. Def no feature wall. Might consider a lump sum for flooring as opposed to going grey. Ideally no curtains at all but if you wish then maybe blinds in lounge and bedroom.

    • the reason Tories have lost votes is because they have lost trust primarily. the voters didn't vote for what the Tories did, but what they promised. you can't blame the voters for the outcome, just because they voted for the party. Labour are in a position of influence so we will have to see what they do.  Reform are there, as quite a presence should Labour continue to fail. It feels as if we are on a very thin line
