Breathe in! London's skinniest home at just 99 inches wide on sale for ?450,000... built on space that was once someone's side garden

One-bedroom house in Denmark Hill, SE London, is a 466 sq ft two-storey home at end of three-storey terrace

Estate agents Foxtons say the property's location is excellent for commuters wanting a 'perfect pied-?-terre'

Narrowest property in Britain is a terraced home on Isle of Cumbrae in Scotland which has a 37in front fa?ad

Hindmans Rd may not be the most attractive road but the skinny house is beautiful inside - much lighter and airy, architecture designed with a number of sky lights/roof lights and a pretty garden. I saw it a few years ago when previous owners were converting. Good example of what you can do with a small space.

    • Anyone can deliver for Evri - my daughter having just passed her driving test tried Evri to make some money - they basically give you a route and as many parcels as they think you can cope with - you make money for each one you deliver, so you can imagine - speed is the priority. Why would they wait for you to answer the door when they can just throw it and take a photo? If you have a choice, choose a different courier service or shop elsewhere where they do.
    • Boil - it’s the customer’s fault, not the delivery person’s.
    • A bit of a long shot but I'm on the lookout for a portable pop-up counter or podium.   The kind you often see on a high street, used by charities or utility companies to advertise their wares.   I've included a photo to give you the idea. I'm a peckham-based artist and am looking for one for a free (and non-profit) community art project.  It can be in any workable condition and can already have signage on it as we will remove and redecorate ourselves.    Thanks in advance, Linzie
    • No I absolutely did not - that much is clear. Have you read the latest stories about Unite, Len and the hotel in Birmingham? The UK electorate were smart enough to reject a far-left party in 2019, let's hope they are smart enough to reject a far-right party at the next election too. If not we are all doomed.
