Disposal of furniture

Hi, we want to get rid of a couple of old ikea furniture so we can get few good pieces. Not worth aelling. How do I dispose of these?

If you are in Southwark, then call 0207 525 200 and the waste department will book you an appointment to take them away from outside your house for free.

Sign up to Freecycle Southwark. Someone will no doubt grab them the same day. I've used it 3 times this year alone.

ALDLife, a small charity with a shop in Peckham will pick up unwanted furniture and sell it in their shop.

From experience, if you just put it outside one night, I am pretty sure it will be gone before morning.

A good alternative is to put it on freecycle.

Or you can give your old furniture away by advertising it on this very forum? (The "For Sale" section also covers things being given away for free).
