*bob* I think for me personally it was a combo of being over generous, and drinking faster than whoever was due to get the next round in.

But I very clearly remember that I found ?100 was never enough and always needed an extra ?20 or so. This would be a standard CPT til 10ish, down to The Vale (only option at that point if you wanted to stay local) til 2, then kebab shop / offy on the way back to the CPT (upstairs). Beers shots and shorts, no cocktails and actually no gear in those days, it was all very boozey.

A "proper night out with clubs and taxis would be a lot more.

But this was at a time when I was first working in a reasonably well paid job and had nothing else to spend my money on (and no sense to save it). I'll never have that sort of disposable income again even though I earn more now.

    • Oh give it a break.  We have an MP who makes racist comments, yet our media (and what seems like this Forum) that generally hate Labour (and loved Johnson) are just out looking for the dirt. It's a move on, nothing to see here.  Particularly if she used a letting agency.

    • I don't think a single specific URL is easily doable.  When you enter a search the system presents the result without any of one's search parameters added to the URL.  So I suggest you go to https://planning.southwark.gov.uk/online-applications/search.do?action=advanced where you just need to enter the address -- use SE22 8EW -- and the  Date Received start date.  I used 1/1/2025.  The three Tesco applications, all minor things, were all made in May.  The Simple search that I'd done previously had no time limit, and didn't include anything else that might have been from Tesco in the last two years. Incidentally, when I searched on the address 29-35 Lordship Lane it did not pick up the Tesco applications, which were held as 29 - 35 Lordship Lane Grrr!
