Killing two birds with one stone. Cleaning the kitchen and listening to the music on my ipod on shuffle. Not just because it's a long time since I listened to music but the not controlling of it was good. Accepting every tune for what it is to me, good or just ok. Made me realise how hard it is (for me) not to want to control what I'm exposed to and how hard it is to just go with the flow when you have become 'set' in your ways.

In the space of a week my son has read a book called 'The Power of Now', started realising things about himself and has now just purchased a book called something like 'How to become rich'.

Good lad.

By even more chance Honaloochie Boogie was a question on the Popmaster quiz on Radio 2 this morning.

Went with my sister to a ballet show at the end of a week-long holiday workshop. We watched as 14 girls from about 6 to 16 danced beautifully - then my nephew appeared, the only boy, 6 a week ago, big happy smile, wrong t-shirt, one arm in plaster up to the armpit. Brings tears to my eyes even now.

    • Brilliant emergency weekend service from Aria from AFE Plumbing to replace our stopcock valve as it started leaking heavily on Saturday. He explained everything clearly and completed the job efficiently. Kind and well-mannered, would highly recommend!
    • Hello everyone, We have lost our wonderful moggie, Cookie.  She's been missing for over a week now and was lost around the back of our house on rail track land around Croxted Road/Turney Road junction. Please do keep an eye out for her and if you see her please let us know urgently as she isn't familiar with the area at all, we are very worried.  She has a microchip (with my brother's contact details) She's black with ginger/brown markings, very distinctive. If you have had sightings of her or seen her at anytime please let do let me know, Henna 07941 047094 If you could post on your local/street groups too, I'd be very grateful. Thank you!
