My belt broke a few weeks back. I borrowed string from the bakers opposite Surma, then a couple of days later went to the big hospice charity shop and got a belt for ?3 (though admittedly it was a red and chrome girl's belt - no men's belts) which still keeps my jeans up.

So yeah, hospice charity shop does sell belts.

I have about 20 ties, but it's 19 more than I need (the same black one does the job for any funerals or formal dinners).

One thin belt for work, one thick belt for jeans (neither as nice as KK's new belt though). However, with the fantastic news that Sainsbury's clothes section is to re-open, I may just treat myself to a new one!

    • Hi Busterb, Yesterday I turned up with a scanner & towels, hoping to take a deceased tabby down to TNV. The body was moved moments before arrival & had not been turned in to any vets, rescues or animal hospitals. I am wondering if this could have been the same cat & if someone just tried to move the tabby further away from the road. Please be warned, viewers discretion is advised. but this is what the deceased tabby looked like: https://www.facebook.com/groups/900015513463302/permalink/3729980853800073/  In any case, if you haven't been able to get someone to scan or take down to a vet, I can scan tomorrow morning.
    • Wholeheartedly recommend Aria. He was polite, responsive and sorted our leak, from an old tap on an old plumbing system, with no bother and on same day.
