Buses from Victoria to East Dulwich (Night Time)

I'm off on my travels in a couple of days and have a nice 13.55 flight from Gatwick.

However on my return I will land at 23.00 and estimate I will be at Victoria 01.00

It will be a Thursday night Friday morning.

I thought the 185 ran all night but they do not start until >04.00pm

Any advice on alternative routes. don't want to pay ?20.00 + for a cab when I can travel for free on buses.

Get off at East Croydon and catch the 197, tfl shows you can leave Gatwick as late as 2353 and make the second or third last one

I've just realised I can get from Victoria via N136 to Camberwell / Peckham

Assuming Gatwick Express runs all night ?

The 36 also runs 24 hours a day.

Route 197's final buses from East Croydon to Peckham are at 0033 and 0053, so worth the suggestion above.

Once in Camberwell you can get on the n176.

Don't get the Gatwick Express, get Southern or FCC (they run all night), takes 5 minutes longer for a quarter of the price (?5.10 as opposed to ?19)

My vote is for the 36 from Victoria then change for 176 at Camberwell. Both are 24 hour buses.

A cab at that hour (from Victoria) wont be too bad given limited traffic. Maybe ?15 or so.

Depending on where you live in East Dulwich, the 12 also runs all night (good service) and Parliament Square from Victoria is a 15 min walk or easy bus ride.
