Can't see anything from plan that suggests ST Francis Road would be proposed route as all the plans seem to still show it as a cul-de-sac. Aside from not being suitable for handling that volume of traffic, the access points at end of cul-de-sac are in private ownership so would be a non starter. Hadley are just testing the water at the moment. Whatever they actually have planned is probably some way off from being revealed.

Is St Francis Rd any narrower than other residential streets in East Dulwich? Looks similar to me. The Abbotswood estate is pretty small and doesn't generate much traffic, but St Francis would become a through road rather than a cul-de-sac so this might make it slightly less desirable.

@eastdulwichhenry, the road access is not the only very unclear thing.

Currently the now slightly reduced in size club carpark can hold around forty cars (reduced by the carwash). During matches we now see between thirty and fifty cars parking along the rear side of the ground, down Abbotswood Road, Burrow Road and even Talbot Road. There is no club carpark on any of the plans and it certainly needs one.

"Sorry if this has been mentioned before but does anyone know why the buses are suddenly announcing "alight here for the Champion Hill stadium"? Doesn't seem like much of a landmark....."

How very dare you.

    • I go to the dry cleaner on Dartmouth road in Forest Hill..I have a lot of vintage and designer clothes and I've been going to Eddie for years, They are'nt a 'specialist dry cleaner' but I've always found their care to be meticulous. The one that the Designer boutiques in The West end use is Buckingham Dry cleaners They are based in Mayfair and I believe they will do a home collection and delivery. I worked in designer fashion retail and my employers always used them ££££ so I've always gone to the one on Dartmouth Road https://www.buckinghamdrycleaners.com/service/dry-cleaning/

    • Is the budget unremarkable? I would say slapping huge tax increases on businesses and working people to give 30 billion away to people on benefits is worthy of remark.
    • Susan Hall issued campaign leaflets that resembled penalty charge notices and claimed Khan had a "secret plan" for pay-per-mile charging. It was totally made up /  a lie. ...and on the susbstance of pay per mile (or rather, what I'd like to see in time - dynamic road pricing) - is clearly the best way to manage road use.  Had Hall been voted in we would now have dirtier air and more ill health.
