I am proud of having got to 44 and not having seen it.

It will remain that way unless I'm strapped into a chair facing it with my eyelids pinned open!

HP

Liquid Sky - paid good money to go and see it at the ICA in 1982 - bloody drivel! - and this slightly different, saw M Night Shyamalans' Unbreakable at the cinema and thought it was pants, however I saw it a second time and thought it was brilliant - still do

Seconded. Utter shit.

Robin hood: men in tights.

I can easily think of best films but worst ones?

No idea because if a film doesn't grab me within the first 20 mins it goes off. There must be thousands over the years that have failed the 20 minute test so would all qualify for worst films.

If a film is that bad, why watch it til the end? Switch off & end the torture.

    • It was a reactionary post and inappropriate when talking about a real case and a real person who was harmed.  London streets are generally pretty safe.  Sadly violent crime happens from time to time, as it always has.
    • Do tell, CPR Dave, what the spiteful jealous stuff is - I'm intrigued.  Agree - Burnham is a top class communicator (polar opposite of Starmer) he'd do a great job of uniting the party. I still think Wes Streeting has the edge, though I'm sure he has more enemies as well.
    • This is a huge part of the problem.   Starmer is only interested in himself, not in what is best for our country.    There's a litany of stuff he's done for spiteful jealous personal reasons which has damaged the nation enormously. Burnham would be a much better leader than of the other dross left behind when Starmer goes. To inflict a worse leader (and PM) upon us for his own selfish reasons would add to the problems and be entirely in keeping with his woeful premiership so far.
    • I heard today there was a burglary in Lacon Road yesterday evening between 20.00 - 22.00,  apparently the owners were home at the time & thieves got away with electrical items along with the owners car!  Wtf!   Anyone heard anything else?
