just had a listen.

Nice enough, in fact it's very pleasant now he's not trying to alienate, but I can't get very excited about it, in fact i was looking forward to it ending so i could listen to something I'd enjoy).

I was there too when it he was helping redefine dance music such that it wasn't just some hand claps, euphroic synths and a fuck load of ecstasy, but a million people have trodden this path since and it's just a bit jaded really isn't it?

Thinking about it there are some bits that wouldn't have been uncomfortable on a tangerine dream album ;)

One for the This Life flat to have on endless repeat ;)

he was grounbreaking 20 years ago, not entirely sure what's groundbreaking about this, I'd call it comfortable.

Not sure anyone's breaking much ground these days.

Try something like Inga Copeland if you want something that's trying to at the very least explore the nooks and crannies of music.

    • Franklins is lovely but it usually only has one veggie option, so if your vegetarian doesn't like it they might  find it hard to find something else. So it might be worth checking out in advance what's on the menu on the night you want to book. Maria's is also lovely, but it's very small. I didn't think they had a table large enough for 8, but reading the above I'm obviously wrong!
    • We live in East Dulwich and often to go Rye Lane. I know people say there are good restaurants near Rye Lane.  Does anyone have recommendations for good places for lunch or dinner?  We like Manze for pie & mash at lunch. And I've been to Peckham Bazaar in the past, which was excellent.  Thanks!
    • My husband is currently a full-time carer for our two disabled children, and he’s keen to get back into paid work where he can fit it around our family needs. He’s immediately available and looking for local handyman work — from snagging and DIY jobs to gardening or general fixing-up. He’s capable, practical, and reliable, with plenty of hands-on experience restoring and maintaining, including with heritage/listed properties. If you have a to-do list you never quite get to, or need help with those annoying finishing touches, he’d be happy to help. Please drop him a message if you’d like to chat or check availability. 07968345884
