Oooh, do we get to chose?

A vietnames who'd be great.

As for chopsticks, the people were really lovely but the food was awfully bland. It was a shame.

I know this has cropped up on the forum before but went to Gold Lee for the first time other night, food was excellent... the interior is a bit bright and 'standard', a few tea lights and a dimmer switch would transform the place for the evening... but go... try it... see what you think... happy eating folks xcc

I only tried take away from chopsticks. I think it tasted ok but nothing special.

Yes, Vietnamese and Korean would be nice. I used to live in Canada Water, there is a very nice Vietnamese restaurant called Cafe East, very small but the food was amazing. I cant find anything like that around here. To be honest, it is quite hard to find a decent orential restaurant in ED... how sad :(

From one cherry to another, I completely agree Cherrybear,

I am a massive fan of East Asian food. In fact I am such a massive fan I could eat it all day, every day. >:D<

Any kind of East Asian food and I am happy - as long as it's good quality.

But I think you are right, There really isn't as much here in ED, either different kinds of food or of decent quality. It seems to be all about the Indian here, which I don't mind too much, but I do find Indian food pretty samey.

My favourite so far since moving here is Mr Lee, there squaab (sp?) is really really good.

Haha thanks VeryBerryCherry. I love East Aisan food too (maybe because I am from Hong Kong (tu))

I dont mind curry at all, but I would love to see more varieties. I think Cafe Noodle is ok, the stir-fry noodle/rice dishes are nice (and cheap as well!). But only if you want a quick bite instead of a proper sit down meal.

    • overtaxing people, while taxing businesses, while increasing welfare but not increasing growth is NOT a solution.
    • We do need to pay the tax though because the Labour front bench can't control the back benches. So they have to bribe them with tax and spend policies to preserve their own skin.
    • I go to the dry cleaner on Dartmouth road in Forest Hill..I have a lot of vintage and designer clothes and I've been going to Eddie for years, They are'nt a 'specialist dry cleaner' but I've always found their care to be meticulous. The one that the Designer boutiques in The West end use is Buckingham Dry cleaners They are based in Mayfair and I believe they will do a home collection and delivery. I worked in designer fashion retail and my employers always used them ££££ so I've always gone to the one on Dartmouth Road https://www.buckinghamdrycleaners.com/service/dry-cleaning/  Edited to add..For a specialist service I doubt there would be anyone locally I just reccomend on personal experience.  Buckingham are gold star service and you can message them about the garment in advance...
    • So there isn't a hole, we don't need to pay so much tax. Let's backtrack. Encourage growth, reduce waste. What a mess.
