You've obviously forgotten the goals against Chavski, Man Ure, Liverpool (especially in the unbeaten season when we were 2 1 down and he scored three I think it was to win us the game, but according to you he doesn't stand up to be counted when our backs are against the wall), Real Madrid, Inter Milan ( 5 -1 at their palce after we had lsot 3 - 0 at ours, but he doesn't score important goals does, idiot) ... Why do you take this so personally? A number of other people have said something along the same lines, so there must be some truth in it. A couple of my friends, one an Arsenal fan has said the same thing for years.

Try backing you arguments with cohesive facts and don't let your loyalty to whatever team you support blind you to the sublime qualities of a truly great player. I'm guessing your not an Arsenal fan but that's neither here nor there, the guy scored when we were up against, as per examples I've quoted, on the other hand you chose to make a swweping generalistion and show off your lack of footballing knowledge.

I don't support an English team Atila, but I do admire good players and I do admire Henry, just think he was over admired in general and there are others I'd have in my team before him. If he had scored against Barca in the champions league final when through and leading 1-0, I'd say that completley proved me wrong, but he fluffed his big chance to win Arsenal the trophy that remains missing from their cabinet.

Maybe this is time for us to pick our all time best 11s - (he won't be in mine) - I'll do mine at lunchtime.

Well they don't come much more important than games against Liverpool, Man U and Chelsea - he scored 24 Premiership goals against those three. Whereas Cantona only ever scored one League goal against Liverpool (and that a penalty).

What exactly did Eric Cantona do... oh I know he sold lots of French flags outside Old Trafford before Argentina came into fashion. Ah that's right he trained in the afternoon and that is what inspired the United youth to practice their football rather than shoot pool with a beer.. Legend!

Of course I've been unfair on Cantona, he was a top player, but what do you expect when you treat a genuine footballing legend like Henry as if he was a two bit player.
