Absolutely discgraceful behaviour from Rooney and Ronaldo today. I wonder if Rooney will get the same treatment that Masch did when he behaved in a similar manner. Also thought that Ronaldo's yellow should have been a red.

Well in Fulham, had some good chances in the first half, although how many did United want? Was almost like target practice at one point.

Ronaldo and Rooney reverted to type when things don't go their way. Surprise, surprise fergie didn't speak to the BBC after the game. Grow up for fcuks sake.

Mancs should still win the title, but it they don't bookmakers Paddy Power are going to look pretty silly as they have already paid out on them winning the title.

Taylor should have seen red for the geordies for puching Arshavin, but the ref didn't see it, luckily the cameras did. He should have walked for it. If it had been an Arsenal player we'd have never heard the end of it.

That comment would imply that his decision not to speak was based on events in the game which didn't go his way.

Its no "surprise surprise" to anyone as he vowed never to speak to the Match Of The Day Boyz again, many moons ago, so I have to say (to quote someone here) that connection is "total ballacks":))

He was in a reflective mood, obviously.

He's a very thoughtful, insightful Man...:)

As are most of your postings, anyway his attitude is indicative of all things Man U. Love your use of the smiley face by the way, very grown up and tasteful.

A teenager telling "me" to grow up! lol

So nice to hear from you again after your shenhanigans the other night!

Now most people reading your multifarius abusive comments on a variety of threads, that night, would have been appalled at your general aggressive tone to all and sundry who crossed your path.

Not I though ! I admire someone like you with an attitude. That kind of attitude should be emulated by more teenagers, though, obviously, that attitude will change as you evolve and mature.

)..

See Ya and Keep On, Keeping On Putting The Boot In !

p.s. Glad to see you have sobered up now M8:)-D

Try staying off the hard stuff if it doesn't agree with you though.

Tony, it seems to me like you are trying to get a rise out of Atila (who to be fair, has been known to rise to things quite easily). Why don't you just leave well alone, as it's you who is coming over badly here.

Anyway, back to footy, I hope Liverpool can do what they have thus far failed to do this season, and take advantage of other's slip ups...

Come on you reds!!!!!!!!

A begrudging congrats! Looks like Spurs are safe now!

I agree, lets return this thread back to Football after my diversion, but MUST take issue with you on one point though Keef!

Atila INSTIGATED every altercation he was involved in. He rubbished many peoples threads with comments like "I don't give a toss" etc when he was NOT part of any of the threads that I saw, and there were many that he INSTIGATED them on!

Your comment does suggest that he is the respondee where nothing could be further from the truth!

He didn't "rise" to anything he started the "ag":-$ with various Men and a Few Ladies, as well.

Anyway 'nuff said as someone will complain (either Atila as the "victim" or others on his behalf (which, unbelievably, happened after HE kicked off the other night!)...

Anyway Keef Point Taken and 'nuff said.

Resurgent Liverpool:

I think I have to eat some humble pie - thought rafa had run out of steam, and ideas, a month or two ago but credit where its due Liverpool are really motoring now and pose a real threat to MU title hopes. 3 great performances in a row.

Just got back from watching Dulwich Hamlet Youth beat Thamesmead in the final of the under 18's London Cup (at least that what I think it was called, in a shit hole called the Mile End Stadium) 5-1 and have seen the footage of the Friedel sending off, very harsh. Especailly as a defender had got back and Friedel just stood his ground and Torres ran into him. But overall Poll deserved the win by all accounts.

Haven't heard much Manchester lot this weekend. Can't think why.......

What a cracking couple of weeks for us. 4 or more goals past

Real Madrid, the Mancs and Aston Villa and Rafa signs a 5 year contract. Happy days.

Thought we bossed that game today and seem to be buzzing at the moment.

Hopefully not too little too late.

Hate international breaks.

Every single line of Annasfield's post basically. I am no Man U hater - they have been up until recently the outstanding team this season - but I would love Liverpool to win this year. And seeing a team in their form over the last 3 games have to take a break is really frustrating
Yeah, Liverpool on fire and making it an exciting run-in to the title. Had managed somehow to avoid all results and comment all day Saturday and then watched TOTP....er MOTD on with a beer and a cocoa. Caould't stop smiling as Fulham ran the game in the first half. Utd were shambolic. Well done the Spurs. And did anyone else enjoy that Noble goal for West Ham?

Eldest daughter got student loan and after 20 years managed to pay it off, Youngest daughter still paying hers 18 years later. Granddaughter - still paying after 6 years. Grandson decided against FE and secured an apprentenship. I am glad that I am an old codger and not young anymore !

    • It is not only Southwark - our grandson, partner and 7 year old had a one bed council flat for years in Harlow Essex and all the properties offered were in poor condition. They eventually took a property as if they refused another one they would drop to the bottom of the Housing List. It was damp and in need of a level of renovation. Having lived in these conditions for a while they were offered better council accommodation recently, but further away from child's school. They had to pay 2 lots of rent for a few weeks as council had to undertake work in the new premises before they could move in,
    • Just had an interior decorating job done by Andy. The final outcome looks lovely and he did some remedial work at the same time to fill in gaps in the ceiling (due to previous electrical work) and to remediate any similar areas to ensure a polished overall look. Would highly recommend him for any similar job, he quoted a very reasonable price for the job as well. Thanks Andy!
