Impressive all things considered.

tfwsoll - but where in Dulwich does do good coffee? (nearest places I can think of are Bambuni and Anderson in Nunhead/Peckham).

Jah Lush - I think Nunhead was lumped in with Peckham, much as Deptford and New Cross were together, and bizarrely, Blackheath and Brockley were.

Too right! Sorry - I know I've moaned about it before but I still despair at the absence of decent coffee in ED. Blue Mountain's is singularly unimpressive to be the winner in the category. Guess I'll just have to stick to Nunhead and Peckham. My current top tip is Lerryn's at the bottom of Rye Lane - gorgeous.

Anybody could vote for them via Time Out's website.

I don't think there were any specific criteria.

tfwsoll - I like FCB's espressos although I had one of the worst americanos ever there. Bambuni in nunhead uses Volcano beans as well. I've only had toasted's once and wasnt especially impressed.

I want to try Lerryn's. Otherwise mousetail by Peckham library are good. But my regular haunt is Alchemy by City Thameslink station. mmmm.

No - just the way the OP presented them almost made it seem like it's a undispitable fact.

    • Yep Peter Mandelson is officially toast.  But what now MUST happen is that the title of Lord and all the privileges which go with that should be removed immediately. It's a long way up the pole but it's an even longer way back down as Mandelson is finding out.
    • Christ. When the licence fee is under such scrutiny, this doesn't seem like a great time to spend cash exhuming this pair of swivel-eyed loons, even for comedy value. Spoiler alert: Boudicca Rising (!) left Tony.
