I've just moved to Dulwich from Fulham and was looking for recommendations on the best places to eat in the area?

I like Toast and Franklins for restaurant

Great Exhibiton for pub food

Hisar for sit down or takeaway Turkish / mediterranean food..

Kos in Lordship lane for Greek/Turkish food.

Rocca in Dulwich Village for great pasta.

Rosendale pub for gatro pub food.

And best burgers in South Lndon at Conquering Hero pub Beaulah Hill SE19

Blue Brick Cafe is very good for (vegetarian) breakfasts, lunches and puddings as well as tea, coffee, juices;

In SE15, near to Bellenden Road, is Petitou for breakfasts and lunches; Artusi on Bellenden Road is especially good value at lunchtime on Sundays (but you now have to book, whereas once you could just walk in).

Agreed wholeheartedly about virtually everything mentioned so far - if you fancied wandering into Crystal Palace Joannas is well worth a visit too!

oh forgot to mention Il Mirto on Melbourne Grove - a total hidden gem of a place! (Sardinian) We are actually spoilt for choice so very lucky!

There really isn't anywhere to write home about in Dulwich, all the best restaurants locally are in Camberwell and East Dulwich.
