titch juicy
We're breaking the habit this year and planning on letting someone else cook Christmas Dinner and do the washing-up afterwards.Christmas is usually spent either in London or in the Lake District and I know if we were planning on doing this in the Lakes we'd be spoilt for choice; however, I don't have a clue locally.Does anyone know if anywhere half decent is open on Christmas Day, for Christmas lunch, in East Dulwich or nearby? hazelnunhead
I asked this question as well - here are some of the responses on the thread http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?29,1432054 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/52068-christmas-day-east-dulwich/#findComment-803426 Share on other sites
Ruffler
We're also considering a break with tradition and eating out on Christmas Day but very few local restaurants (apart from Belair House) are advertising their Xmas Day offerings on their websites. Does anyone know is the Crooked Well is open on the day? titch juicy
Thanks for the responses. Measly pickings it seems. The Clockhouse menu sounds lovely, but the three times we've eaten there it's been underwhelming. And ?70 a head is quite an expensive gamble. spark67
Le chardon last year was fun, staff had party hats on and really made an effort, and was really reasonable compared to others, lots to choose from on the menu as well.
