found this place today - they do gorgeous custom murals and painted furniture all on site - i've walked past loads but is definitely worth looking in. If it was 50 yards west it'd be packed.

yes they do workshops as well

What is it called? It may do the bulk of its business online - Etsy etc. Certainly not a great spot for passing trade, but it might be cheap enough to work out.....

It was. (Bowbelle) I lost two friends on that trip and my brother lost five. It could have been worse as he was invited to the party on the boat but changed his mind at the last minute not to go.

I wentinto this shop today so much to see I bought a beautiful Christmas candle very reasonable.

the two ladies who run it so nice and friendly I wish them luck we should all try and support local businesses

I popped in there today but thought it was called La Belle. It is a gorgeous little shop with some great ideas for Christmas presents. I found it through this post so thank you.

It is called La Belle. I've passed by it often but apart from a blast of bright colours I've no idea what it's there for. There's never anyone in there it seems. Having gone to all that trouble I hope they know/knew what they were doing.

Thanks Callie, I've just noticed the bow now from your photo! I mentioned this thread when I went in to the shop. I met with the husband who was a very nice man. I think most of the furniture and paintings etc are done by family members. I think they are in the process of having a website made for them.

I live close to the shop & never realised what it was, walking past it, to use the shops either side. I just presumed it was some sort of venue company, specialising in parties,christenings, weddings, baby showers & that sort of thing mainly because of the sugar icing colours of the exterior & interior - balloons tied to the railings & strange little gatherings of people having what looked like birthday tea parties outside the shop, sometimes with awful(sorry) live music. Very odd indeed.
