Yes, the appointments were scheduled for every ten minutes. And there is no waiting area at all this time (sometimes for medical checks there they have a very small area inside with 3 or 4 seats). You have to sit on the steps up to the van if you are early, which isn't pleasant in very hot sun or pouring rain, or else wander round Asda. It's one in, one out. I don't know what happens if you are late, but I doubt they would hold up everybody who came after you in order to fit you in. There was someone immediately before me and someone immediately after me. -
NHS subcontractors frequently use supermarket parking areas for CT and other screening. Easy to get to and park. They've done the same at Dog Kennel Hill in the past. Makes a lot of sense. And they ram in lots of timed appointments, so time critical is precisely right. -

There is an NHS van in the Asda car park which is a local centre for lung cancer screenings. I'm an ex smoker (haven't smoked for decades but still at risk). My appointment was at 2pm. Any other sarcastic comments? Do feel free 🙄
