toto
Indeed Sue. Fifth day in a row without planes ! And still counting ! So nice and quiet :-)Please Boris, build your estuary airport and it will be this quiet 70% of the year instead of 30% only. stephent
Actually Boris airport was planned to be on the Isle of Grain, so no plane would overfly London (too far away). For Dulwich that would only leave the City Airport flights. mancity68
Sue, has the acoustic glass really made a difference? Was thinking of getting sashs double glazed with it but wasn't sure if it was one of these emperors new clothes things... Herne Hill Guest
The sash window will vibrate if not installed correctly and snugly.Take care. Ask me again then! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/52720-easterly-winds-heathrow/page/2/#findComment-833458 Share on other sites
Henry_17
Personally I am sceptical of planes. This idea that the faster air underneath is enough to keep such large objects afloat seems farfetched. oilworker
Actually the air is faster over the top of the wing which as a result of the Bernoulli effect gives rise to a lower pressure, hence lift. Fascinating things planes. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/52720-easterly-winds-heathrow/page/2/#findComment-834148 Share on other sites
Mallard Von Hannover
Yes. Don't you know they have to change the flight path so as to evenly distribute the chem-trails when a group becomes to self aware.
