recommended Rye Lane butchers?

Has anyone had a good experience buying meet from any of the butchers on Rye Lane? Theres gotta be a decent one in and amongst them somewhere!

Although not on Rye Lane I find Flock & Heard on Bellenden Road to be very good, good quality meet and the guys are very helpful!

United Meats opp the Library (so strictly speaking I think that's Peckham High St) has good quality lamb at reasonable prices.

I use the one at the corner of Choumert/Rye Lane, I get 'goat' (mutton actually) and tripe there.

Yes, denis butchers very good. Always good quality meat, at a good price .

Another recommendation for Denis's I get a box of chicken (skinned and chopped into 80 pieces) for ?23 bargain.

I also love the irish butchers next to primark. Lovely helpful staff and always smells like sanitiser ...

I just did a quick search for Goat and found this thread.

I also recommend the Irish butcher near Primark.

Goat - anyone know where I can get it. Today, Irish Butchers and Dennis did not have it. I can get it in Sydenham but want to get it closer. It does taste better than Mutton. It has a delicious fatty quality.
