On the subject of busy-body types, I live near to probably the noisiest person in the world. She's always looking out her curtains judging me and Mr Louisa when we go shopping as a pair. I've given her the two finger salute more than once let me tell you. She oddly looks an older female version of Mick Hucknall.

Mrs Loz and I usually shop together. I quite like shopping. She hates it. Mind you, since discovering internet shopping I just tend to do all food stuff online now.

If we are talking seriously about shopping then the question should be asked, is it a potential Olympic sport? One of the ones you can't be bothered watching but happy if your country gets a medal. My wife went shopping today and forgot her wallet/purse. I had to deliver it. Should be instant disqualification.
I just broke something at home. I've tried supergluing it with a degree of success. It's an ornament of sorts and now my fingers are full of glue. Three questions: how do I get rid of the glue, do I hide it, do I put it back and hope it isn't noticed? If your a busybody we live where you might hear a lot of shouting a bit later.

Both. I actually prefer to supermarket shop on my own (as I am a "wanderer", she's a "get what we need and get out"), but I quite like poking around with her when she's clothes shopping. Given the number of things I find she actually goes onto buy, I don't think I do too bad a job.

I do realise though, that as far as husbands go, I may possibly be in a worldwide club of one person on that one.

Mr. Louisa is never forced to do anything, but he knows how much I play up when I've had to carry heavy stuff so he offers to help. I would never make anyone go shopping with me, but I would encourage them to come if it were in their best interest to do so. Mick Hucknall's older sister lookalike and I have had a very on/off relationship since she decided to take out brown wheelie bin for garden hedge cutting without informing us then sticking it back in MY front garden. • I’d also recommend Paul for electrical work. He came round the other week to help us out with a handful of jobs (installing an SPD, new light fittings, installing a dimmer switch, a bathroom fan). His quote was cheaper than what I got from others, he turned up on time and he got the job done quickly.
    • We’d like to add our recommendation for Lukasz and team at L&L Building & Maintenance.  Lukasz has recently installed a roof terrace for us, and we’ve found him a pleasure to work with from start to finish. We contacted about a dozen recommended builders and found his quote very competitive. During the build his team delivered quality work, they were no hassle in the house at all and they kept the place tidy every day. The terrace looks great, and we’re very happy customers. What stood out in particular was Lukasz’s responsiveness, right from discussing quotes to follow-up during the build. Lukasz often checked in and was always available when we needed him.  We’ll definitely contact Lukasz again for future building work and we’d happily recommend him to others looking for a reliable builder.   Lukasz Kugaczewski L&L Building & Maintenance 07926651960 [email protected] www.landl-build.com
    • Yes, I did mention the train, which I now get from East Dulwich to Guys instead of the 40. Depends where in East Dulwich you are starting from which route is easiest! I think it is probably lack of staff rather than lack of hospitals which is the problem?
    • What can be done? How about reporting it to the police?
