Christ all these resources wasted on the spiraling crime in ED, i think we need to up the stop and searches in the area, just to stop these crimbo's bringing their problems into other more lawful surrounding areas. Lordship lane is starting to look like San Antonio.

I wouldn't laugh! Reports from my boyfriend who lives on Barry Road just said he came out and saw a dead body in the road in the midst of all the furore! Shot in the head he said! Shocking!

My Hubby says that it is on the corner of Barry/ Underhill. He thought it was another crash. Will go and have a look..BRB

Well I'll get an exact update when he comes back from the shop but, yes TQ, I think a quick dig at SE15 isn't particularly necessary when a young man has died. Casually dropping in a post code is implying a lot more than the flippant remark is worth methinks.....

Police said it is a shooting down nr to Barrys offy (by the lights) and the road is likely to be closed for hours....

Police would only say possibly fatal

That confirms what my other half has said lilol. He lives near the offi and he said that he went down to get some milk but, obviously found he couldn't, and much to his shock saw a dead man in the road and hence rang me with alarm. I agree with you andymat. You are more than right in saying that you don't expect it to reach Dulwich. Poor man.

I think it happened on the stretch of Barry Road between Upland Road and Underhill Road. And police are concentrating the sniffer dogs down Upland - perhaps the gunman fled down there? But a very sad event.

Happened outside number 50 Barry road. Middle aged black guy on a push bike shot in head. Upland road has been cornered off.

Terrible. I was about 300 yards away walking down the street with my parents when it happened. Talking about what a nice place ED is. This is the second shooting on Barry Road in 3 years....
