charlottep
Sorry, i know that this is not strictly a family room topic but i'm looking for some inspiration and i thought given the great ideas on the kitchen thread that i might find it here. I have had a new window fitted in my bathroom and i need to buy a blind for it. What do people typically use or recommend for bathroom windows? I'm not a massive fan of roller blinds, i prefer roman blinds but i'm assuming the moisture in the bathroom would wreck a roman blind.Any advice would be very welcome. Thanks,Charlotte Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/54269-advice-pls-what-kind-of-blind-to-fit-in-bathroom/ Share on other sites
yeknomyeknom
We got lovely shutters from shutters up. Very affordable on a smaller bathroom window. Allows privacy and light. ladyruskin
Could you put opaque film (I think it's called manifestation) over the window? We had a new window fitted with frosted glass in our bathroom, which provides light and privacy, without having to invade the window line with a blind. It removes the problem re moisture and dust too. melbourne groover
We have had a Roman blind in a previous house. Don't think they last as long but wasn't a major issue. Just have to scrub it regularly. ours was made out of heavy duty shower curtain stuff as it was over the bath/shower.We have gone for the frosting and then film over top as it wasn't quite opaque enough with just the frosting....
