Sorry, i know that this is not strictly a family room topic but i'm looking for some inspiration and i thought given the great ideas on the kitchen thread that i might find it here. I have had a new window fitted in my bathroom and i need to buy a blind for it. What do people typically use or recommend for bathroom windows? I'm not a massive fan of roller blinds, i prefer roman blinds but i'm assuming the moisture in the bathroom would wreck a roman blind.

Any advice would be very welcome.

Thanks,

Charlotte

Could you put opaque film (I think it's called manifestation) over the window? We had a new window fitted with frosted glass in our bathroom, which provides light and privacy, without having to invade the window line with a blind. It removes the problem re moisture and dust too.

We have had a Roman blind in a previous house. Don't think they last as long but wasn't a major issue. Just have to scrub it regularly. ours was made out of heavy duty shower curtain stuff as it was over the bath/shower.

We have gone for the frosting and then film over top as it wasn't quite opaque enough with just the frosting....

    • Some incidental background info, (I presume this is the relevant edition of Panorama), from https://www.c21media.net/news/blue-ant-studios-takes-october-films-president-trump-a-second-chance-to-cannes/: Blue Ant Studios to shop BBC’s President Trump: A Second Chance? in Cannes October Films’ President Trump: A Second Chance? airs on the BBC this month Blue Ant Studios will launch forthcoming documentary President Trump: A Second Chance? (working title) at Mipcom this month. Produced by October Films in the UK, the 1×60’ doc, which has just wrapped production, was commissioned by the BBC for its Panorama strand, where it will premiere on October 29. President Trump: A Second Chance? will provide an up-to-date and comprehensive look at Donald Trump’s run for the White House over the past 18 months. Featuring expert analysis, archive material and interviews with those closest to Trump, the doc asks how it has been possible for a now-convicted felon to be within striking distance of securing a second term as president. Blue Ant Studios holds the international licensing rights to the doc, excluding the UK. It will be joined on its Mipcom slate by nature series Walking with Elephants (3×60’) and Roman history doc Emperor: Rise & Fall of a Dynasty. Karolina Kaminska 10-10-2024 ©C21Media
