The sun is shining, the daffodils are popping up and it feels like spring is firmly in the air. I'm in such a good mood today, let's all share happy thought on this thread please! I'm tempted to crack open the Pinot Grigio blush I have in the fridge or is it too early for such a summer wine? Thoughts please..

Louisa.

Go with the impulse, Louisa.

I'm wearing pink sunglasses too and they do make the world a warm and friendly place, even on duller days than this. Highly recommended.

On my way to Kingston to enjoy the light on the river as it'll be even brighter there.

Not sure if Louisa was wearing Rose Tinted 'Lenses.'

Perhaps Bright Pink Frames.

There is too much Rose Tinted spectacle wearing in East Dulwich..

Would seem to explain a lot of posts on here on how wonderful the place is..

......

Rose tints my world

And keeps me safe from my trouble and pain ....

    • Steve used to joke that my old VW Golf kept them in business. I've got a more reliable car now so maybe that's why they are closing. Sad day.
    • Is Dell Autos closing down completely or just moving? For whatever it's worth, for MOTs I've had good recent experience with The Test Centre in Deptford. They only do MOTs so they don't have any particular incentive to fail you and they usually have same day appointments. Open 7 days a week and late. https://www.thetestcentre.co.uk/our-test-centres/deptford-branch/ Obviously you would still need a "normal" garage to do servicing and repairs etc.
    • So what is the issue? You want compensation for the loss of value, or you want to expedite the matter?
    • No. What happened? I actually thought, considering it was what we used to call Guy Fawkes Day last night, the loud noises from  fireworks ended remarkably early. About 9pm? Maybe I just fell asleep and didn't hear any later ones. Do people actually burn Guys any more? Apart from at places like Lewes, where I believe they still have Bonfire Societies and burn effigies of various political figures etc.
