Otta
As previously stated, I'm not a F&C lover, but to me a fiver for the cod plus ?150 for chips is what I'd be expecting to pay in any decent chippy. *Bob*
So what have we learned? If you eat fish and chips maybe once a month then by being canny and driving the 20 miles to Bluewater, within three or four months you'd have saved enough cash for a drink in a pub. On your own. Jeremy
Oh I see. Yes, the price is within the bounds of what most people would consider "normal".If you don't like their food then fine, but making out that the prices are extortionate is just stupid boring trolling. phobic3000
The Sea Cow is rubbish. I've been twice and both times it was crap. First time thought it bland and couldn't understand why it always looked busy. Decided to give it another go, I got haddock and chips, got home to discover they had squished 2 tiny haddock together and passed it off as one. Felt like I'd been mugged off. Never again.(Chips were spongy) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/55042-that-fancy-fish-and-chip-place-next-to-the-chicken-shop/page/4/#findComment-828651 Share on other sites

titch juicy
Was last in Sea Cow a couple of months ago and it was good. Chips nicely cooked, Fish batter was thin and delicious and their minted mushy peas (i would never have thought minting them was necessary) were a revelation.I'm also a big fan of Cod Fellas on Bellenden Road. The worst fish and chips i've had in the area by far were from the new-ish one on East Dulwich Road. I have no idea what it's called, but it was awful.
